Illinois Manufacturers' Incentive Program (IMIP)
The Illinois Manufacturers' Association added a new incentive
program to assist members planning significant consolidation or expansion
projects. For those companies considering new capital investments that will
exceed $2.5 million and will create at least 25 new jobs, the Illinois
Manufacturers' Incentive Program (IMIP) could provide significant savings.
It has already saved a number of IMA members several million dollars.
Prairie States Enterprises The Illinois Manufacturers' Association has partnered with Prairie States Enterprises as its preferred third party health administrator. IMA member companies could see health care cost savings of more than 10 percent. Prairie States is a TPA that oversees health benefit programs for self-insured companies and includes Optimal Health, a wellness program with one-on-one coaching that has proven to improve workers' lifestyle behaviors and reduce medical claims.
