For this year’s survey, we partnered with IMA member companiy Verisight, Inc. and Valley Industrial Association (VIA) to survey IMA and VIA members and compile the results.
This year’s report presents data for 180 manufacturing-related job titles, reported statewide and by Illinois labor markets. We hope you find the 2012-2013 Compensation Report to be a valuable tool in your compensation considerations.

NOTE:
It was recently discovered that several data outliers were inadvertently left in the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association 2012-2013 Annual Compensation Report. These outliers may have impacted the Average and 75th Percentile statistics for the following survey jobs:
- J-03 – Assembler, Electronic
- J-15 – Grinder/Sandblaster Machine Operator
- J-27 – Material Handler/Hand Trucker
- J-34 – Packer and Boxer
- J-35 – Painter - Production
- J-42 – Punch Press Operator
- J-44 – Set-Up Person
- J-54 – Welder/Braizer (Spot)
- M-08 – Quality Assurance Technician
- N-07 – Welder
